Top Loading Arm with Vapor Recovery
Description
Designed for closed-loop top loading applications, this vapor recovery loading arm provides safe and reliable
transfer of volatile and toxic fluids to road tankers and railcars. The integrated vapor return system captures and
recovers highly volatile vapors during loading, reducing product loss, emissions, and environmental impact.

Features
· Flexible swivel design:
The piping assembly is equipped with four swivel joints, providing excellent flexibility and allowing the
loading arm to reach tankers positioned anywhere within the operating envelope.
· Telescopic drop pipe option:
For high-profile tankers, a telescopic drop pipe can be provided to enable bottom-up filling, reducing
turbulence and improving loading efficiency.
· Reduced splash and surge effects:
A drop pipe deflector or a 45° angled filling pipe outlet can be installed to minimize splashing and surging,
helping protect the tanker structure during loading operations.
· Secure parking position locking:
An inboard arm locking mechanism securely holds the loading arm in the parking position when not in use.
· Smooth and balanced operation:
The spring-cylinder counterbalance system compensates for the weight of the outboard arm and front-end
components, ensuring smooth and effortless vertical movement.
· Efficient pipeline drainage:
A vacuum breaker is integrated to enable rapid drainage of the piping system and prevent liquid retention after operation.
· Enhanced static protection:
An anti-static device effectively dissipates static charges and stray currents generated by fluid flow through the
piping system during loading and unloading operations.
· Reliable vapor containment:
The loading arm is equipped with a sealing cone for secure manhole connection and a flexible vapor return hose for vapor
recovery, preventing the release of hazardous vapors and improving environmental safety.
· Optional working position locking:
An outboard arm locking mechanism can be optionally installed to secure the loading arm in the operating position.
· Improved sealing performance:
A press-down cylinder can be provided to ensure a tight and reliable seal between the cone and the tanker manhole.
