Top Loading Arm with Single-arm
Description
The single-arm top loading arm is specifically designed for open-top loading and unloading operations on road tankers and railcars.
By enabling the transfer of bulk liquids through the tanker’s top manhole, it offers a versatile, user-friendly, and dependable solution
for liquid handling applications in the chemical, petroleum, and industrial sectors.
Specifications
Nominal diameter: DN40~DN250
Design pressure: -0.06MPa~2.5MPa
Design temperature: -40℃~+230℃
Pipeline material: aluminum/carbon steel/stainless steel/PTFE lined
Drop pipe material: aluminum alloy or other materials
Features
· Flexible swivel design:
The piping assembly incorporates four swivel joints, providing excellent flexibility and allowing the loading arm to reach tankers
positioned anywhere within the designated operating envelope.
· Telescopic drop pipe option:
For applications involving high-profile tankers, a telescopic drop pipe is recommended to enable bottom-up filling, reducing turbulence
and improving loading efficiency.
· Reduced splash and surge effect:
A drop pipe deflector or a 45° angled pipe outlet can be installed to minimize liquid splashing and surging, helping to protect the tanker
structure and ensure smoother filling operations.
· Secure working position locking:
An outboard arm locking mechanism is provided to securely hold the loading arm in the operating position during loading operations.
· Safe parking position locking:
An inboard arm locking mechanism keeps the loading arm safely secured in the parking position when not in use.
· Smooth and balanced operation:
The spring-cylinder counterbalance system compensates for the weight of the outboard arm and front-end components, enabling effortless and
stable vertical movement.
· Efficient line drainage:
A vacuum breaker is integrated to facilitate rapid drainage of the piping system and prevent liquid retention after operation.
· Enhanced static protection:
An anti-static grounding device is incorporated to effectively dissipate static charges and stray currents generated by fluid flow during loading and
unloading operations, improving operational safety.
Optional Accessories
· Static grounding alarm:
Provides visual and audible alerts if the tanker is not properly grounded, preventing static buildup.
· Tank level alarm:
Activates an alarm or signal output when the liquid level exceeds the preset limit.
· Submersible pump:
Used for pumping liquids out of the tanker.
· Customized configurations:
Additional options are available upon request.
